Rack & Pinion Steering Cable Kit
This Teleflex Rack Pinion steering system is ideal for outboard runabouts, bass boats, jet boats, pontoons, small cruisers and houseboats up to 24''. The kit contains a helm, 90 degree bezel kit, a steering cable, hardware and instruction sheets. The helm unit incorporates machine cut pinion gear which engage the pre-assembled rack and cable. The system features a standard 3/4"" tapered shaft and has 4 turns lock-to-lock standard travel. Exceeds BIA certification and ABYC safety standards and is an ideal replacement for outdated Morse, ACCO, OMC and Detmar cables. See the instruction sheet for directions on how to measure for the correct length.
