A drive cooling shower is a simple but effective method of providing additional cooling for your Bravo sterndrive. Manufactured from stainless steel, this invaluable unit picks up water from the anti-cavitation plate of your drive and discharges it through the Teflon lined stainless steel hose onto the drive’s top bearing cap. This added cooling will greatly enhance the life of your oil and drive. The Eddie Marine Flex Drive Shower is specifically designed for use on boats with external hydraulic steering in order to clear the rams. Available for Bravo I drives, including X and XR models with finned top bearing caps (the shower will not work with performance caps using studs) and Bravo III drives. The water pickup can be mounted on either side of the drive and the installation requires drilling a hole for installation. NOTE: The shower stands off of the top of the drive approximately 3/4". Make sure that you have adequate clearance with transom or your boat or swim platform when tilting the drive.
